About Elaine

 
Elaine and her husband Victor moved their family from Pittsburgh, PA to Tega Cay, SC in 1987, and have lived here ever since.  They chose the Charlotte area over a variety of cities that Vic’s job had allowed him to choose from because of the climate and the lifestyle that the area offered.  They chose their home in Tega Cay community because they had two small children at the time, Angela and Robert, and they liked what the Fort Mill School System had to offer them.  But they were especially drawn to Tega Cay because they were active tennis players and outdoor enthusiasts, and loved all of the parks and amenities that Tega Cay had to offer for their family.  

Elaine became very involved in the community through the Newcomers Club, the Garden Club, The Tega Cay Tennis Association and for awhile, as a Girl Scout Leader.  When she became a Realtor in 1992, she already knew many of the residents in Tega Cay and in Fort Mill.  Part of what still thrills her about being a Realtor is the chance to continue getting to meet new people as they move into the area.   

Special Skills/Interests

Elaine still battles it out regularly on the tennis courts.  She and Vic also enjoy gardening and landscaping around their home.  They both have become quite knowledgeable about the local flora, and her favorite flowers are Day Lilies.  She has also become infamous for her love of Christmas, as during that time she displays a tree in every room of the house, and coordinates the family Outdoor Christmas display, which for the last two years, has literally been award-winning.  Her latest pursuit however, has been working for the York County Humane Society thrift shop to help raise money for their efforts.
